Chapter Liason with the CRAC

  • Kyle Brook interested in putting forward motion for CLSA Chapter to appoint him as a Liason to the CRAC (County Recorder's Association of California) (https://www.craconline.org)

  • His goal is to begin a dialog with Recorder's to determine if new recording methods may be applicable so we can someday digitally record maps.

  • Last meeting discussion revealed concern that this is not in our “authority” as a chapter, that it would be best to have such a position be done at the CLSA State level, as CRAC is a state level organization.

    • Chapter rep(s) will inquire at directors meeting about whether it is appropriate for a Chapter to have a liaison to a State wide agency.

  •  A motion was made to have Kyle Brook represent the chapter at the directors meeting to promote having liaison relationship with CRAC.

    • The motion was tabled to allow Kyle time to prepare a presentation for the board.

New Chapter Secretary

  • Kyle was unanimously elected to be the Chapter Secretary
