    • A robust discussion followed.

Liaison to County Records Association Proposal

  • Kyle Brook is interested in putting forward a motion for the CLSA Chapter to appoint him as a Liason to the CRAC (County Recorder's Association of California) (https://www.craconline.org).

  • His goal is to begin a dialog with Recorder's to determine if new recording methods may be applicable so we can someday digitally record maps.

  • The liaison position would allow him to facilitate better communication between our two organizations.

  • Discussion about having Kyle Brooks being a “liaison” to the County Recorders Association.

  • Concern was expressed that this is not in our “authority” as a chapter, that it would be best to have such a position be done at the CLSA State level, as CRAC is a state level organization.

  • This item will remain on the February agenda.
